Job Description:
As an IT Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of Avenir's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with third-party managed service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure high availability, security, and performance across our infrastructure landscape. Additionally, ensure the infrastructure is aligned with strategic initiatives and meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, including cloud, networking, and security.
- Develop and implement infrastructure architecture strategies, particularly in networking, Azure cloud, and security.
- Manage lifecycle planning, ensuring timely upgrades, patching, and end-of-life transitions.
- Lead Azure cloud architecture and management, optimizing cost, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps, aligning with business objectives.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve efficiency, resilience, and scalability.
- Regularly assess and optimize resiliency, performance, and capacity planning.
- Oversee infrastructure cost management, ensuring budget efficiency and cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain and test backup, failover, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with a third-party Security Operations Center (SOC) to manage security monitoring, threat mitigation, and compliance.
- Maintain and enforce IT security policies, aligning with industry best practices and documenting exceptions as necessary.
- Manage voice and data services across all branch locations, overseeing vendor relationships, contracts, and associated costs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Management with 5 – 10 years' experience in IT infrastructure management, IT operations, and architecture.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ITIL best practices and processes (ITIL Foundation certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance tracking.
- Experience with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) for incident tracking, change management, and reporting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
