This role as a Wealth Insurance Advisor at the National Bank of Canada involves working collaboratively to help our clients achieve their financial goals. Your Responsibilities- Manage back-office insurance requests such as agent changes, customer service management, registration and licensing, insurer codes, and business book transfers.
- Ensure insurance policy requirements are met and manage the CRM.
- Provide assistance and advice to internal staff regarding insurance policy coverage and general insurance inquiries.
- Manage the insurance policy renewal process.
- Create and modify procedures, maintain insurance-related records and documents up-to-date.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance sectors to ensure proper coordination of legal actions.
- Provide assistance and advice to internal staff regarding insurance requirements for various contracts as needed.
- Connect with an external insurance provider if necessary.
Within the insurance support team at National Bank Financial, you ensure that our partners consistently deliver service that meets all quality, compliance, and risk management requirements in place. In this role, you work closely with a group of seasoned insurance experts daily.
Prerequisites- Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and one year of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and its application to insurance policies and practice.
- Knowledge and experience in CRM processing, insurance company back-office service, pricing processes, and insurance delivery.
- Experience in customer service/advisory roles.
- Demonstrating excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, time management, problem-solving, communication, and customer satisfaction assessment skills.
- Holding a financial security advisor title/license is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Equisoft/Centralize systems is an asset.
