Resolve transportation delays based on discussions with customs authorities.* Supporting Export and Import Control Requirements.* Either provides all shipping and receiving or leads this activity with assistance of shipping technicians in actual shipping and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipping.* Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipment.* Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.**Our ideal candidate has:*** 2-5 years experience with Import and Export* Solid knowledge of transportation procedures and policies as well as international ocean/air transportation document requirements.* Fully conversant with all applicable Custom laws, regulations, procedures and industry practices.* Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office* Familiarity with ITAR Regulations, Controlled Goods, Customs and Transportation of Dangerous goods, considered an asset.***As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations.*****CAE offers:*** Benefits: fully flexible for you to choose what is important* Retirement: Defined Benefits Retirement Plan & Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)* Financial Perks: Employee Stock Purchase Plan & numerous corporate discounts* Personal and Family Programs: Physical Wellness Plan & Supplementary Maternity Plan* Fun at work: social and community events all-year roundCome and share your passion with us**#LI-KP2****Position Type**RegularCAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
