It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part of our growth and extraordinarily bright future Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is operated safely and correctly by utilizing monitors and gauges on the equipment. He/she will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and that good quality product is produced at all times. Location- Etobicoke, ON Shift- Afternoon - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Key Responsibilities - Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) assigned in a timely manner and use Computerized Maintenance Management System to log in all planned, reactive and emergency activities - Repair and capture detailed root cause and countermeasures of breakdowns and communicate effectively to management and peers - Ensure effective and timely on-floor support to the maintenance department members, including regular, off-shift and weekend coverage as required - Assist in the ongoing improvement of work order system - Able to troubleshoot all electronics, electrical issues including PLC related issues - Support the effort to develop and document maintenance procedures, one point lesson and implement a competency-based training program - Work as a team member on small and large technical projects Qualifications - License: Industrial Electrician – 442A (preferred) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician – 309A (considered an asset) - Completion of high school education or equivalent - Ability to work with CMMS; conduct and complete planned maintenance tasks, able to complete work orders, and able to generate work orders. - Licensed industrial electrician, Technician or Technologist Degree or Diploma related to maintenance/engineering, with electrical, and robotics specialization Working Conditions - Fast paced environment in an automated, high-speed manufacturing facility - Temperature controlled and clean working environment - Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
