Vancouver, Canada CLōD Full time

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Associate who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and support the development of core product features across LōD’s IoT and energy-integrated modules. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys solving complex problems, working with technical teams, and turning real user feedback into actionable product improvements.

You will work directly with the Product Manager and engineering teams on workflows, documentation, user stories, QA, and product releases.

What You’ll Do

Product Development Support

- Help translate product requirements into clear workflows, diagrams, and documentation.
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks for engineering.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and day-to-day coordination with dev teams.
- Assist with feature scoping, prioritization, and version planning.

User Insight & Research

- Work with Customer Success to gather user feedback and identify pain points.
- Document user needs and turn them into structured product insights.
- Review support tickets, usage data, and customer conversations to validate requirements.

Execution & Delivery

- Support QA testing, including writing test cases and validating functionality.
- Track feature progress from design to release and help maintain release notes.
- Collaborate with design on UX flows and simple wireframes.

Cross-Team Collaboration

- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Ops, and Customer Success on product initiatives.
- Ensure product documentation is always up to date and easy for teams to navigate.

Who You Are

- 2+ years of experience in product, software, operations, design, CS, or similar.
- Strong communicator who can explain ideas clearly without jargon.
- Curious, organized, and comfortable breaking down complex problems.
- Enjoys working with technical concepts (you don’t need to be an engineer).
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Takes initiative and asks good questions.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to B2B SaaS, IoT, or energy-related systems.
- Experience with Jira, Figma, or other PM tools.
- Prior work in product, CS, design, operations, or data.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll build hands-on experience in:

- Product strategy and roadmap planning
- Writing EPICs, User Stories, and acceptance criteria
- Agile ceremonies and release processes
- UX fundamentals and workflow design
- IoT, energy markets, and data center operations
- Cross-functional communication in a technical environment

Be a part of creating an innovative product that makes a real difference.

Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, vision, and dental coverage.

Paid time off to support a balanced work-life experience.

Work in a conveniently located office in downtown Vancouver.

Grow your career and take on more responsibilities within the company.

Discover how energy, artificial intelligence, and computing intersect to tackle significant challenges.

Join a team that prioritizes clean coding practices, strong principles, and technical excellence.
