Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of capabilities within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and governance leaders, ensuring effective implementation, governance, and adoption of AEP capabilities such as Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and data governance. The ideal candidate combines product management expertise with strong technical knowledge of data integration, identity management, and marketing technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the AEP product backlog, translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes in alignment with enterprise goals and governance policies.
- Partner with stakeholders to refine and validate requirements for journeys, analytics, segmentation, and data sources.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and data stewards to deliver features on time and resolve blockers.
- Serve as liaison between the AEP Platform & Data Team and Experience Development Teams.
- Ensure all new features and data sources comply with governance, privacy, and security standards.
- Partner with governance leads to review schema changes, datasets, and identity stitching policies.
- Support stage-gate approvals with architects, lead engineers, and data stewards.
- Drive enablement of AJO, CJA, and RTCDP for business teams.
- Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and new capability adoption.
- Coordinate training and documentation for business and technical users.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or platform ownership in MarTech or data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (RTCDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics).
- Understanding of identity management, data ingestion workflows, schema governance, and profile stitching.
- Proven ability to write clear Jira stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Experience coordinating Agile/Scrum delivery across multiple teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of API integrations, batch/streaming data pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
