Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities
- Influencing overall test strategy by helping define product features, enabling QA during design, and spearheading best practices to enable a quality product
- Writing and running test cases
- Working with Design Teams to understand test scenarios
- Working with the Test Team to understand test infrastructure
- Driving test automation to ensure product quality
- Troubleshooting failures and proposing corrective actions
- Participating in infrastructure design reviews
- Defining mechanisms and metrics to determine and drive improvements to test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the catalog
Required Competencies
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of industry experience in software testing
- Experience in programming languages such as Python/C++/Ada and scripting to build test automation
- Experience in DO-178C, ARINC 653
- Knowledge of architecture, or platforms
- Develop and maintain test automation framework with CI/CD tools.
- Aerospace/Automotive industry background.
- Basic understanding of data structures
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Work can be done remotely.
- For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
- The position might require travel to visit customers (in North America)
