As GM of Region 2, you will be part of the future of agriculture and play an essential role in developing and supporting the business growth plans and leadership for the region and organization. Responsibilities

- Provide leadership in the areas of physical assets, employees, business processes, and financial resources
- Coach and develop Branch Managers in your assigned region, who are responsible to ensure that all departments are working together to achieve our goals
- Develop and execute the organization’s business and marketing plans
- Lead dealership operations, development, and implementation of sound business practices and processes
- Guide the management team in making business decisions
- Oversee the evaluation, allocation, and management of physical assets, employment decisions, and financial resources to fulfill the stakeholders’ expectations
- Set the financial direction for the organization utilizing annual budgets and ensures financial stability through audits and internal controls
- Ensure the dealership’s reputation and image in the community is consistent with the organization’s values, vision, and mission
- Lead and manage on-going relationships with key John Deere personnel and other suppliers
- Manage in cooperation with Human Capital recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position

Requirements

- 7+ years of management and inventory control experience in increasingly responsible roles
- Post‑secondary education in business, marketing, or other related field; Combination of education and experience may be considered
- In‑depth knowledge of the ag industry, John Deere, and competitive products
- Proven understanding of requirements for successful branch operation
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating managers and successfully coaching within an organization
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Results‑oriented, strong work ethic, analytical
- Positive attitude and empathetic
- Self‑aware with high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Valid driver’s licence, ability to travel and work flexible or extended hours
