Job Role

Reporting to the Manager of Payroll Services, the Payroll Specialist will work together as a team to complete the full cycle of a biweekly payroll, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate pays using an in-house HRIS computerized system. This position will ensure compliance with payroll legislation, SaskGaming policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements (CBA) within a multiple unionized environment. The Payroll Specialist will ensure all remittances, record of employments and T4 processes are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma from a post‑secondary institution in Business Administration/Accounting. A Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification through The Canadian Payroll Association is required along with a minimum of three to six years direct work experience. An acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Work Eligibility

All applicants must be at least 19 years of age to apply. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority – Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
