METHOD dba **EXO** **Construction Group** is a growing General Contractor, Designing, Engineering & Manufacturing buildings and products based in Surrey, BC. Our main focus is Tenant Improvements and building upgrades with growing demand within new construction including EXO Building System, our proprietary modular building system.

**We are actively seeking a motivated and talented Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team**.

As a Manufacturing Technican, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality standards. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, CAD software, and continuous improvement methodologies will contribute to the success of our production operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze technical drawing and collaborate with various dept. and team members to understand project requirements and specifications
- Work with production manager to create specific work schedules for various work centers
- Improve manufacturing processes and systems
- Lead some of the production teams
- Oversee the operation of manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
- Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met and collaborate as needed with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, as needed, including drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- As needed, evaluate and select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and optimize productivity
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs
- Oversee routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and the work areas are cleaned and organized
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
- Potentially participate in the recruitment/hiring process

**Skills, knowledge & Qualifications**:

- College Degree, university diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing is required
- Great team leader
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, MS Office and other software
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment
- Hands-on approach a must
- Ability to design, assemble, fabricate, and test mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

**Salary**: From $58,000.00 per year
