We are actively seeking **an energetic, self-motivated and committed Estimator/Technician with manufacturing experience** to join our growing team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for product estimation, and improvement for all divisions
- Working independently and collaboratively with internal and external business units including Customer, Design, Marketing, Business Development, Procurement and Production
- Manage custom projects/products with internal/external stakeholders including but not limited to estimating, material sourcing, design, establishing BOM’s, generating production documents, manufacturing drawings, work instructions, and inspection
- Create and manage timelines on each project, adjusting and communicating as needed
- Ensure that every phase of a particular project proceeds as scheduled
- Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
- Maintain a customer focused mindset while considering all factors which would impact a product’s success
- Create production ready SolidWorks models and production drawings
- Participate in the building & preparation of prototypes for testing and demonstration
- Select the raw materials, components and hardware necessary to build or create the product being developed or improved
- Participate in the development of new products that capitalize on our extensive experience in large format thermoforming, and supported by other in-house processes.
- Contribute to a positive collaborative work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives with great flexibility to adopt and learn
- Lead the Engineering Change Request process (ECR/ECN)
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Solid understanding of manufacturing constraints & processes to evaluate costs, tempered with a creative solution seeking mindset
- Excellent time management, and communication skills
- Agile project management skills
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good skills using SolidWorks
- Advanced experience with Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, specifically in regards to BOMs and product specifications
- Familiar with and understand multi-level Bills of Materials
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus
- Experience taking customer’s design from point of concept into production an asset
- Good understanding of the importance of evaluating a market, researching product potential and developing products for manufacturing also an asset
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Technician diploma or degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
