**Who are we looking for?**

This role is intended for a **Project Manager **interested in the advancement of their career in the design and management of large transportation infrastructure projects. The role will provide exposure to and opportunities for growth in business development, staff management, and operations management.

The Transportation Group within GHD Canada works with Provincial, Regional, and local municipal transportation agencies, as well as select contracting partners, on large scale projects across the whole Transportation spectrum of highways, roads and bridges, transit and multi-modal infrastructure, and transportation planning. Our team provides integrated transportation services throughout the project lifecycle from initial policy, transportation economics and business case advice, through planning, concept, environmental assessment, detailed design, construction administration, and asset management support.

**Working with an energetic and hard-working team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Successful participation in, and completion of, roadway, highway and freeway projects, and/or multi-modal corridors.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design highway projects for municipal and provincial clients, including serving as a Design Lead, Assistant Project Manager, and/or Project Manager.
- Working closely with a senior project manager, taking responsibility for aspects of the management of projects from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, subconsultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
- Collaboration in small and large teams. Coordinating the integration with other engineering disciplines, engineers and design staff in the production of high-quality project deliverables.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering
- Ontario P.Eng. designation required (or eligible)
- 5+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience.
- Experience working with MTO and/or municipal transportation clients.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and/or InRoads are considered assets.
