Gardener

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our gardens and landscapes. If you have a passion for gardening and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Water and irrigate plants to ensure proper hydration
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and shears to maintain garden beds
- Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers for landscape maintenance
- Assist in the design and implementation of new garden layouts
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks

**Skills**:

- Proven experience in garden maintenance and landscaping
- Knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening tasks
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and watering techniques
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Valid Ontario Drivers License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
