Landscape Gardener/labourer

Jay-Jay's Gardens is an established Landscape Gardening and Maintenance company based out of Bracebridge looking for reliable, fit individuals to fill Full-Time, Seasonal positions.

**The successful applicant must**:

- Be available to work Mon.Fri. and expect to average between 35-45 hours/week.
- Be ready and able to work in a physically demanding job, outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Have and eye for detail.

**Duties Include (and are not limited to)**:

- Spring & Fall Clean-ups.
- Lawn & Garden Maintenance.
- Planting of perennials, annuals, shrubs and small trees.
- Use of Secateurs and other manual pruning equipment.
- Raking & Sweeping.
- Moving a variety materials manually with the use of wheelbarrows etc.
- Operating gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, line trimmers etc.
- Interacting with clientele in a polite and professional manner.

**Physical demands include (and are not limited to)**:

- Walking
- Lifting
- Kneeling
- Bending
- Repetitive actions for extended periods of time

**The successful applicant will be supplied with**:

- Eye protection (non prescription)
- Ear protection
- Hand protection

**Applicant must provide their own foot protection in the form of CSA approved steel toe footwear.**

Experience and Plant knowledge are a plus but not necessary. We are willing to teach if you are willing to listen, learn and ask questions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6-8 months

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
