**Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk on a 6-month contract.**
The Accounting Clerk will assume various operating and administrative duties related to logistic coordination, project administration, billing practices and procedures throughout the organization.
**Job Summary**:
- Data entry into Quickbooks
- Following up on outstanding vendor invoices
- Assist the Accounting team with collections on outstanding customer invoices
- Support other Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
**Shift Times**:
8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Possibility for overtime hours and pay as required.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
- Accounting experience would be an asset
- 1 year of experience in the logistics industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual and flexible with work hours based on volume of work
- Proven ability to multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure to meet competing objectives
- Knowledge of MS Office and Excel, with excellent keyboarding skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Exceptional customer service attitude and approach
- Good organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Quick learner and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Able to assess stressful situations in a calm manner and make decisions based on changing information
- Fun, positive, and professional attitude
**Compensation**:
$23-25 per hour, commensurate with experience
**Location**:
Richmond, BC
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Richmond, BC V7B 1K6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
