Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Club is located in the British Properties of West Vancouver, 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Capilano Golf is a world class private facility annually ranked among the top 10 in Canada and voted the #1 golf course in the country at the 2018 World Golf Awards.

This position requires and individual who is committed to and effective at providing leadership to the F&B team in delivering an excellent member/guest experience. Under the direction of the F&B Management team, he/she will help lead the service team in both the restaurant and special events. This position requires direct visible contact with members and guests offering the highest standards of hospitality, caring service and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Friendly presence on the floor, welcoming our members at all times
- Provide leadership and training in the day to day operations & set ups of regular dining and special events.
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Provide input and feedback based on member comments
- Work closely with the F&B Services and Event Manager in maintaining consistency in service and quality standards
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to their concerns
- Assist in inventory and cost controls.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean, orderly and safe work environment including dining areas, storage areas and back of house.
- Assist in ordering of goods
- Assist in back-office tasks (e.g., menus, POS set-up, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality service establishments
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of POS systems (Jonas)
- Ability to lead and support demonstrating respect, inclusiveness and positive attitude.
- Own transportation an asset

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-15 months

**Salary**: $29.00 per hour
