**Description**
Chicken Little Cafe is excited to welcome a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our dynamic cafe. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring outstanding customer experiences, maintaining impeccable food quality and service standards, leading a dedicated team, and contributing to the overall business growth. Day in the Life of an Assistant Manager:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff management, scheduling, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Uphold and reinforce high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness to exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure optimal stock levels at all times.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective operational procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Support the training, mentoring, and motivation of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and consistently uphold the brand standards.
- Aid in coordinating and executing marketing and promotional activities to increase customer traffic and boost sales.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and licensing requirements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Engage with customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to contribute to informed business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Assistant Manager or similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Food safety certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
