**Position Overview**:
As the Business Unit Manager for one of the LARGEST RETAILERS IN NORTH AMERICA you will be responsible for driving sales growth within locations in British Columbia and Alberta. You will have the opportunity to build and lead your own team of 2-5 employees, establish connections within the industry to collaborate with subcontractors, and ensure the profitability of your business unit. Your performance will be measured based on the sales revenue generated by your team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Building**: Recruit, train, and lead a team of 2-5 employees to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- **Relationship Building**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the retailer and within the landscape construction industry.
- **Subcontractor Collaboration**: Identify opportunities to collaborate with subcontractors to fulfill project requirements efficiently.
- **Sales Performance**: Set and track sales targets for your team, taking ownership of their achievement.
- **Financial Management**: Ensure the business unit operates profitably by managing budgets, expenses, and pricing strategies.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to make informed business decisions.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and team progress to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the construction or landscaping industry.
