**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve sushi dishes according to customer's needs and preferences.
- Have knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Follow standard kitchen safety protocols.
- Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Salt Spring Island, BC V8K 1C3: Relocate before starting work (required)
