- To work under the direction of a supervisor to set up the workstation for each order.
- To assemble trusses in accordance with Company policies & procedures, health and safety, and Standard Operating Procedures
- To regularly inspect and review the condition of the equipment; the quality of the materials being used; and the quality of the work being performed/completed and advises the supervisor of any concerns
- To maintain a clean workstation throughout the shift, in addition to a final clean up shortly before the end of the shift
- To be responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner (as trained and instructed)
- To be actively participate in daily meetings, and offering suggestions for continuous improvement for processes, production and people.
- To complete other duties as assigned.
- Woodworking and/or construction experience
- Demonstrated the ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure in the foot-inch-sixteenth method.
- Demonstrated the ability to read, understand, and comply with work orders.
- The ability to work independently and cooperatively in supportive of the team
- The ability to be detail-oriented, with attention to accuracy and safety
- The ability to prioritize and work productively as a member of the team
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and develop new skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
