Matix Lumber Inc. is looking for a full-time Truss Assembler to join our team. Forklift experience will be considered an asset.

**The Truss Assembler will be responsible for**:

- Gathering precut wood parts to build trusses and related structures
- Verifying the size of each precut part
- Moving specific wood pieces into position as required
- Working with the Supervisor to ensure that safety, quality and protocol are followed
- Receiving and stocking products
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Assisting and/or completing cycle counts, as needed, to ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintaining cleanliness of the yard, warehouse, and storage facilities
- Rotating, culling, cleaning and organizing yard inventory, as required
- Loading and unloading vehicles and/or equipment when required
- Complying with safety requirements and Company policies
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous experience with truss assembly will be considered an asset
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for an extended period of time
- Strong work ethic and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Warehouse / yard experience would be considered an asset
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (outside of standard hours as needed)

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
