**Position Highlights**

As an
**Asset Information Manager**, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and the development of strategy for:

- Equipment, system and asset information
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) and data integrity of assets information to inform asset management decisions such as capital investment/replacement, operation and maintenance
- Life cycle value realisation and resourcing
- Manage asset management projects and initiatives related to asset information
- Develop and manages key performance Indicators and generates related reports utilizing asset information extracted from existing databases
- Provide analysis and recommendations to the Director for follow up and further action.

**Build on your experience and knowledge as you**:

- Lead the development, implementation and improvement of the asset information strategy for Capital Projects and Facilities Maintenance & Operations (FMO). This will involve providing recommendations on how to acquire, store, utilize, assess, improve, archive and delete asset information with the appropriate levels of data quality required.
- Plan, implement and monitor the short and long term goals for the asset information strategy to support decisions associated with asset management. These decisions include: planning, design, installation, operation, maintenance and replacement.
- Identify, develop, and prioritize infrastructure renewal projects and infrastructure upgrades across the Organizations. You will collaborate with Directors and Managers of FMO, Capital Planning & Projects, Corporate Finance and contractors. These relationships will better equip you in meeting the Organizations’ standards and strategic, financial and operational goals. You will establish and monitor regular metrics.
- Lead the data integrity, quality and comprehensiveness of asset information databases throughout FM. Some of these databases include: Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Seismic databases, Renewal Program Databases and VFA.
- Develops a framework to ensure that new asset information brought to FHA by the Project is transferred to FMO at the appropriate time in appropriate format for smooth O&M start up and better asset life cycle management.
- Develop and leads the seismic program including managing projects such as structural modelling impact analysis, and non-structural mitigation work, for planning business continuity in operation with internal stakeholders, consultants and Health Emergency Management BC.
- Leads the Safety Program for FMO working closely with Workplace Health Team to ensure FMO staff are appropriately trained and hazards are identified, captured in database and accessibly by FMO and Contractors.

**Are you passionate about joining our team? We will be looking for you to have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, plus formal training in capital renewal project planning
- Five (5) to seven (7) years’ recent related experience, including three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a large maintenance environment
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable_

**We will give preference to those that have**:

- Experience with the maintenance of facilities
- Experience at healthcare facilities
