Due to growing business Morskate Manufacturing is currently looking to expand their workforce by hiring a full-time Intermediate Drafter who is experienced in steel construction and fabrication.

Skills required:

- Comply with CISC standards and CWB codes
- Computer and Technology Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office
- Minimum of 2 years Tekla experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Solid interpersonal skills and comfortable working with all departments
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English
- Prepare detail drawings of beams, columns, girts, joists, stairs, handrails, and connections for small to medium sized projects in our shop.
- Provide fabrication with cut lists and CNC data files for the fabrication process
- Prioritize, organize and maintain assigned projects to maintain set schedules
- Experience with Solidworks would be an asset
- Identify and assist in the facilitation of continual improvement processes in support of company goals
