Junior Structural Drafter

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed drawings of beams, columns, girts, joists, stairs, handrails and connections
- Checking drawings for detail and accuracy
- Provide fabrication with cut lists and CNC data files for the fabrication process
- Create models of small miscellaneous items
- Ensure compliance with CISC standards, CWB codes and OH&S legislation where applicable
- Prioritize, organize and maintain assigned projects to maintain set schedules
- Identify and assist in the facilitation of continual improvement processes in support of company goals

**Qualifications**
- Previous drafting experience
- Previous experience using Tekla and Solidworks
- Graduate of an Engineering Design and Drafting program or equivalent is an asset
- Experience is an asset but we are willing to train on the job
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Must have strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English clearly
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Local or willing to relocate
