Reporting to the Program Manager for Rehabilitation Services and Ambulatory Care, Misericordia Community Hospital, the Ambulatory Unit Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the delivery of high quality patient care following Covenant Health’s Mission, Vision and Values. This position is responsible for the following Ambulatory Clinics at the Misericordia Community Hospital: IV Therapy Clinic, Northern Alberta Continence Clinic, Wound Care Clinic and the Healing Connections Program. The Unit Manager works in collaboration with the teams and physicians in each clinic to coordinate the daily operational activity, develop and recommend operational plans, support quality improvement initiatives, monitor and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and provide day to day supervision of staff. The successful incumbent will be energetic, enthusiastic and motivated with a proven ability to manage teams effectively. These four clinics are distinct and complex with both internal and external partnerships that are key to their success. The Unit Manager must be able to develop strong, positive relationships with these partners and be an ambassador for the clinics and Covenant Health. The Unit Manager works as part of an inter-professional leadership team and will participate in leadership development opportunities.

**Required Qualifications**:
Baccalaureate of Nursing Degree. Member in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C). Progressive management experience leading teams. Skillful in motivating and empowering others. Evidence of excellence in leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Excellent time management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience and knowledge in the areas of IV Therapy, wound care, and continence management. Experience with Connect Care EMR. Experience in project management and/or LEAN training. Personal values align with those of Covenant Health.
