**_ Armour Transportation Systems_** is currently seeking an **Evening **City Dispatcher **in our **Moncton, NB**, location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with all departments, terminals, and customers to eliminate barriers in the movement of equipment and freight.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork and information to complete their tasks efficiently.
- Assist internal teams as needed to ensure both planning and revenue-related special circumstances are accurately addressed.
- Manage equipment utilization and maintenance, seeking opportunities to minimize empty miles.
- Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, and company events, including transition meetings, daily reviews, safety meetings, and employee events.

**Working Conditions**:

- Fast-paced environment.
- Evening shift: Monday to Friday, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential Competencies**:

- Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with excellent analytical decision-making abilities.
- Effective leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams and communicate clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing situations, resolving conflicts, and negotiating win-win outcomes.
- Minimum of 3-5 years dispatching experience required.

**Technical Skills**:

- Familiarity with the TruckMate system is an asset.
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Greater Moncton Area.
