**Shift**:_**6:00AM - 4:00PM**_ **(end time may vary ie. dependent upon unforeseen delays, freight and or route coverage)**

**Overtime: Overtime is based on freight volume, weather, mechanical delays etc.**

**What you will do as a Delivery Driver**:

- Drive a 3 ton commercial Refrigerated truck to deliver and or pick up freights to assigned dedicated runs to Moncton or Saint John or Fredericton
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time _**(approximately 30 to 40 deliveries/day )**_
- _**Lift and carry freight weighing up to 75lbs.**_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a manual pallet truck**_
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 5 License is a must
- Possess a Clean Commercial and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset
- _**MUST HAVE 1 year Commercial TRUCK Delivery Driving experience in a 3 Ton Truck or higher**_
- _**Lift freight up to 75 lbs. and load in proper sequence of delivery with the use of a pallet truck**_
