**JOB POSTING: Communications & Events Coordinator, Facility Engagement**

**Reports To**:Director, Engagement and Operations, and Board of Directors, Providence Health Care Physicians and Surgeons Association (PHC PASS).

**Duration**: Contract position (one year, with option to renew).

**Location**: Hybrid (Remote/Vancouver, BC). Working from home or an independent office, with as needed in-person attendance required at meetings or events (includes some evenings) at or near St. Paul’s Hospital/Providence Health Care sites in Vancouver.

**Job Summary**
Join a leader in Facility Engagement The goal of this exciting and dynamic position is to provide overall coordination of communications activities & engagement events for PHC PASS (a non-profit physician society). This includes tactical support for carrying out the new communications plan (e.g. creating content for multiple channels), as well as shared planning & implementation of events. Works closely with the Communications Consultant and Executive Coordinator.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**

**1. Communications**
- Supporting implementation of the communications plan.
- Drafting & publishing newsletter content every two weeks.
- Gathering & reporting on communications analytics.

**2. Events**
- Creating event plans with timelines and expected outcomes.
- Co-organizing and supporting planning meetings with Physician Leads, PHC staff, and event speakers.
- Writing descriptions & promoting events.
- Arranging audiovisual and other technology requirements, and logistics
- Providing Zoom support for virtual events, as needed.
- Creating presentation content.
- Developing event surveys in virtual platforms & generating reports.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
- Experience in a health care setting is desirable.
- Degree in communications is an asset.
- Experience creating effective information content.
- Strong writing and general graphics skills.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Webmail.
- Extremely proactive, organized, resourceful and efficient with an outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, oral communication and relationship skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with availability for evening meetings and potentially early mornings.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and also as an important member of the team.
