**What you'll do**:

- Strategically advance the occupational and psychological health, safety, and wellness programs throughout the corporation.
- Build and maintain collaborative and consultative relationships with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and Health, Safety and Wellness experts to support the effective delivery of corporate initiatives.
- Monitor and audit employee compliance with safe work practices.
- Oversee the coordination and operation of occupational health & safety committees and actively provide advice and resources.
- Maintain framework for monitoring and reporting on health and safety programs including work related safety incidents and WCB lost time claims.
- Manage WCB claims processes including facilitation of modified duties and return to work programming.
- Investigate and draft reports and recommendations on incidents, injuries, and accidents.
- Take a lead role in identifying organizational risk in the areas of health, safety, and wellness and recommend preventative measures and strategies.
- Support the administration of corporate attendance support policy.
- Carry out inspection of possible remote work locations to determine eligibility of location and provide advice on requirements to mitigate risk.
- Facilitate training to increase awareness on corporate occupational and psychological health, safety, and wellness programming as well as safety principles and best practices.
- Act as primary stakeholder of ergonomics evaluation process.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this position you will need a diploma in Human Resources, Health and Safety or a related field supplemented with experience in a human resources or occupational health and safety role, ideally in a unionized setting.
- Thorough understanding of Saskatchewan WCB and OHS legislation.
- Experience in providing consultive guidance and support to stakeholders on occupational and psychological health and safety.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead investigations of health and safety issues.
- A Certified Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation would be an asset.
- Experience with workplace ergonomics would be an asset.
