**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Training & Recall Program Coordinator will work closely with the Learning & Organizational Development team to identify, plan, and coordinate in-person and on-line training events for Inland employees, especially those working in areas of the business that support Heavy Equipment Sales and Service. Additionally, the Training & Recall Program Coordinator will work with the Equipment department technical manager to track and manage recalls, updates, and safety notifications from our equipment manufacturers, including Tigercat, Link Belt, Case, and various attachment providers.

This is a unique position that allows you to use your interest in learning and organizational development and support the operations of our heavy equipment sales and service division in meeting business critical training needs. Background and interest in heavy equipment strongly preferred but we would consider training the right person.

This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Burnaby, BC or one of BC branch locations in Langley, Kamloops, Prince George, Fort St. John, or Nanaimo.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Partner with Parts, Service, and other department leaders (ex. Equipment Technical Manager, Corporate Parts Manager) to identify annual training needs and create a calendar of in-person and on-line training courses.
- Where needed, work directly with the equipment department managers and manufacturer contacts to create customized training agendas for in-person training events
- Manage the enrollment of training programs including selecting training locations & dates, coordinating travel & accommodation, distributing pre/post-training assignments
- Distribute post-training feedback and assessments to learners and report results to appropriate leaders.
- Reconcile training expenses and ensure costs are billed to appropriate departments/locations
- Ensure training completion records are recorded correctly within Inland’s LMS
- Track and report status of technician certifications to ensure Inland meets OEM Gold status certification requirements
- Track and report the status of service training (service managers, service advisors)
- Track and report equipment department training (Case, Link Belt, Tigercat, etc.) to ensure technicians have completed required training
- Manage and monitor the technician apprenticeship program (Canada) to ensure employees are progressing through the program in a timely manner
- Provide backup LMS administration support to the LMS Analyst
- Track, manage, and distribute Tigercat, Link Belt, Case, and various machine attachment recalls and updates
- Work with corporate parts manager on parts availability and distribution for machine recalls
- Other duties, as assigned by manager

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field preferred
- 3 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with business technologies, such as CRM, Learning Management Systems, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
