Quality Control technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, testing of products, and recording and analyzing of results gathered during product development and production in an organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure there is quality testing all the time; carry out inspections so as to meet the standard set by the organization
- Focus on corrective actions in order to make sure that products meet required specifications
- Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing
- Collect regular samples for analysis
- Work with the Plant Manager regarding specific information relating to product information and production
- Ensure measuring equipment are functioning properly and calling for repairs where equipment are faulty
- Approve finished products for onward shipment to the market
- Work with the management and production managers to ensure that only quality products are produced
- Help to check and update quality control policies
- Work as a team under the supervision of the Plant Manager
- Find solutions to customers’ complaints and feedbacks
- Monitor every stage of production to avoid product defects
- Report Quality related issues to the Plant Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-2 years relative experience as a Quality Control Technician
- Available full-time (40 hours per week)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Bilingual

**Competencies**:

- Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills which include the ability to teach and explain methodologies
- Well skilled in quality processes and also statistical techniques
- Knowledge about measurement and test equipment
- Ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of relevant quality control standards
- Ability to interpret instructions whether written, spoken, or in a diagram
- Possess problem-solving skills

This person will be part of a dynamic and passionate team within an evolving organization
