Stores Attendant

Our Maintenance team is customer focused, working in a fast-paced environment, and achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction. **We are looking for a Stores Attendant to join our Maintenance team on the day shift**. If you are customer service focused, being highly organized, we invite you to apply. This is a full-time, permanent position on the day shift

**In this role, you will be responsible to**:

- Provide customer service to departments and individuals throughout Loewen
- Manage inventory including cycle counts, reorders, identifying obsolete stock
- Categorize new inventory items, creating item numbers, and assigning locations
- Receive material and ensure that shelves are stocked
- Create and review purchase orders
- Conduct local pick-ups
- Track and contact vendors for late Purchase Orders
- Track propane tanks
- Provide back-up for the Maintenance Coordinator
- Other related duties as required

**You will bring**:

- Ability to work independently within a team focused environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Computer knowledge
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently, with the ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
