**Hardware Manager - Steinbach Branch**

The Hardware Manager is responsible for the timely replenishment and merchandising of assigned SKUs in a selected group of categories to help create a well-organized and functional facility with a large assortment of merchandise.

As a valuable member of our team your duties will include:

- All functions associated with the purchasing and receiving of hardware related items
- Attend weekly calls with the Marketing Team and Hardware Managers from other retail locations to collaborate on merchandising techniques, discuss new products and review upcoming flyers
- Keeps team members up to date on company flyers and new product knowledge
- Supervises and manages the Service Desk team while developing employees’ skills and competencies
- Assists customers through their purchase process in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
- Create an enjoyable and team-orientated work environment for staff by effectively communicating the company vision, mission and values
- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry over 50lbs
- The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential
- Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
- Display a desire to expand on their knowledge and skill set
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program
- Available to work various shifts including weekends
