**Job Title**: Asset & Configuration Coordinator

**Location**: 5250 Finch Avenue East, Suite 11

**Department**: ITSM

**Reports To**: ITSM Manager

**Job Type**: 12-month Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Asset & Configuration Coordinator to join our ITSM team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of assets and ensuring the accuracy of configuration data within our asset management system. You will collaborate with various teams to support configuration management processes and maintain a high standard of service delivery.
- Oversee the tracking and management of assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Maintain and update the configuration management database (CMDB), ensuring accurate documentation of asset configurations and relationships.
- Assist in the development and implementation of asset and configuration management processes and best practices.
- Analyze asset and configuration data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with IT teams, including procurement, operations, and support, to ensure alignment on asset management strategies and processes.
- Generate regular reports on asset status, compliance, and performance metrics for management review.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with asset management policies.
- Provide training and support to staff on asset and configuration management tools and processes.
- Proven experience in IT asset management, configuration management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with configuration management databases (CMDB) and asset management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Certified Asset Management Professional) are advantageous.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
