The Scarborough Subway Extension will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those traveling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.FCC Canada is looking for a Asset & Configuration Manager to join the Scarborough Transit Connect team.The Asset & Configuration Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining Configuration and Asset Management processes, ensuring full control over system configurations, modifications, and asset tracking throughout the project lifecycle.Main ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the Asset & Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and ensure compliance with project requirements.Establish and maintain Configuration Baselines and Asset Registers, ensuring traceability and impact assessment of changes.Oversee the Change Management Process, reviewing Change Requests (CR) and coordinating Configuration Control Boards (CCB).Ensure accurate tracking and lifecycle management of physical and software assets.Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper asset tracking and configuration updates.Ensure seamless integration of Asset and Configuration Management with Maintenance Planning and Operations.Generate reports and insights on configuration status, asset utilization, and compliance metrics.Education and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.Minimum 7-10 years in Asset & Configuration Management for complex projects (rail, industrial, aerospace, critical infrastructure).Knowledge and experience in ISO 10007, EN 50126, ISO 55000 (Asset Management), and ISO 15288 standards and regulations.Strong experience in Relational Databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).Certifications in Asset Management (IAM, ISO 55000) or Configuration Management (CMII) is an asset.Job RequirementsProficiency in Asset Management Systems (IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, or equivalent).Expertise in data structuring, asset tracking, and CMDB implementation.Excellent organizational and process management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage key stakeholders.Work EnvironmentFCC Canada Ltd. is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture which promotes gender equity and the recruitment of all under-represented groups in all levels of its workforce.
