**The Role**: Site Coordinator
The Site Coordinator’s main role is to provide administrative support to the Project Coordinator and the Site Superintendent in the project's activities, such as coordinate communication with landlord, maintaining site logs, coordination of deliveries, communication with sub-trades and ensuring workers’ proper documentation.
Only people having experience in commercial projects should apply
**What You’ll Do**:
- Coordinate communication with the Landlord
- Assist the trades in scheduling the deliveries
- Coordination of all deliveries to site, managing the delivery schedule board
- Sign delivery slips for materials and equipment ordered by RCT
- Coordination with the landlord team on deliveries, garbage removal, access to base building portions of the building
- Post job signage on doors and walls as required
- Assist the project coordinator with various H+S administrative duties, receipt of worker’s documentation, site orientations, etc.
- Daily man counts log process (number of workers for each trade on site)
- Daily site photos
- Issue notices to the trades on site, regarding various upcoming changes on site logistics
- Answer questions of the suppliers and subcontractors or pass them on to the project coordinator or super as need be
- Take charge of the weekly subtrade rough cleaning blitz
- Arrange for the delivery / pick-up of the waste containers
- Assist the site superintendent in guiding specific subcontractor’s workers to go to a defined sector of the project to get started on their work
- Other duties as assigned
**What You’ll Need**:
- Degree in Architecture, an Engineering or Scientific discipline, or specialized courses in Construction Management or equivalent experience and training
- Progressive work experience, preferably in project and staff design engineering or architectural design but may include other relevant types of engineering including start-up and field engineering
- Technical knowledge of a specialized engineering discipline, cost scheduling and/or contract administration relating to the construction of heavy industrial or commercial complexes
- Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved including current knowledge of new methods of design and construction
- Ability to determine priority of assignments based on critical deadlines
- Ability to resolve field-initiated questions
- Written and oral communication skills
- Must possess computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (experience with project management software an asset)
