**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Companies by joining us as a Lead Installer in our Operations department. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the
effective manner possible while directing the group of onsite Installers assigned to each respective project.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

**Project Planning**
- Attendance of preparatory meetings as required (planning, construction, design, site inspections).
- Review project plans and scope of work.
- Assist with estimations of labour with the Project Coordinators to maximize productivity.
- Install of mock ups on assigned projects and follow up with Design and Sales to review suggestions of

improvements, or potential issues.
- Identify special site needs (floor and wall protection, elevator bookings, loading docks, garbage disposal, tools

including dollies, carts, ladders, PPE and communications with other Trades people, etc.)
- Responsible for product for delivery to customers’ locations, while exercising sufficient care and attention to ensure

the product arrives and is placed in a satisfactory manner. Ability to drive is an asset, not a requirement.
**Project Execution**
- Delegation of duties on site, including on-site start up, and training for new personnel.
- Day to day monitoring of jobs progress, identification and resolution of potential delays.
- Interacting with client regarding concerns and needs, and act as an RGO representative when talking to other

Trades and/or customer over RGO concerns.
- On site decision making to ensure that the project is complete on time, on budget or better, and in a satisfactory

manner.
- The Lead Installer shall be responsible for all equipment employed at the site (panel carts, dollies, file carts, bins,

etc.)
- Conduct Toolbox meetings on site to ensure all staff are aware of potential hazards, site rules, etc.
- The Lead Installer is responsible for safety on site. Any injuries must be reported to the Health and Safety Advisor.

**LEAD INSTALLER**
OPERATIONS
- Shall perform that same work duties as an Installer when on a project when they are not the Lead Installer for and

be a key support to the assigned Lead of a project.
**Cost Control**
- The Lead Installer shall meet the manpower plan for all jobs while at the same time, maximize productivity and

ensure that the highest quality of service is provided.
- The Lead Installer will report the causes for abnormal deviations from standards and will recommend corrective

courses of action for future jobs by explaining changes to Design and Project Coordinators.
- In chargeable situations, the Lead Installer will ensure that the Service Work Order and Moves and Recons is

completed and that the hours of work are accurately reported.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Minimum 2 years experience in office furniture product
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions and move forward without direct supervision
- Exceptional communication skills
- Self-motivated and action oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrates respect for customers, internal staff and product
- Ability to manage and achieve pre-determined timelines
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Must pass a pre-employment Health Assessment
- Willingness to learn and be trained on new practices and product lines
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset, but not a requirement
- Must be willing to attend an AMA Professional Driver Upgrade course at RGO expense
- Must be willing to provide a Drivers Abstract that is current within 30 days
- Demonstrates enthusiasm to complete tasks with a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (45kg)
- Must provide own 6” grade 1 CSA approved steel toed boots
