**What You'll Do**
- Evaluate damages and defects of items and determine if items can be repaired
- Order replacement parts and install as needed
- Administer appropriate repair methods for various product types including, but not limited to:

- Evaluate each piece of furniture to determine the type of wood and/or upholstery repairs, parts, and materials needed to complete the job
- Case Goods: Burn-ins, refinishing, joinery, match colors, and simulate wood grain
- Refinishes and patches damaged furniture including paint, stain, enamel or lacquers; mixes paints and stains to match existing finish
- Repairs, replaces and rebuilds damaged wood, leather or upholstery furniture or mechanical parts
- Operates tools such as power drills, sanders, saws, and other tools required for repair
- Accurately reports situations that occur when repairs cannot be completed
- Make any required adjustments to items ahead of delivery and ensure item is in perfect condition to be delivered to the customer
- Use scan technology to document pertinent carton level information, including condition, quantity, warehouse location and detail repair completed
- Provide direct input into the existing user tools and make recommendations for improvements based on your everyday experience
- Be a vocal contributor on the team
- Work effectively with peers and managers
- Identify the most efficient way to complete assigned tasks and ask clarifying questions when appropriate
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- Be cross trained and required to work in other departments

**What You'll Need**
- At least 2-5 years prior experience in furniture repair/construction
- Ability to use power and hand tools as needed
- Experience repairing wood items including: color and stain matching, damage/defect repair
- Prior experience repairing upholstery and multiple fabric types a plus
- High attention to detail and prioritizes quality to deliver a perfect item to the customer.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving product 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift
- Must be able to work on warehouse floor up to 8 hours a day or more
- Strong, consistent work ethic and ability to manage time effectively
- Comfort with scanning technology.
- Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Certification in Furniture Repair/Restoration, preferred
