As a Design Consultant at Intuitive Woodworks, you are not just a part of our team, but a pivotal player in our success. Your responsibilities, from delivering exceptional customer service to coordinating each project's design, pricing, ordering, and follow-up processes, are crucial. Operating within a fast-paced professional environment, you will be instrumental in soliciting new business, managing client relationships, promoting and selling our products, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Your commitment to customer satisfaction through relationship building, product expertise, and maintaining a professional and ethical demeanor will be key to our continued growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and expertise
- Utilize blueprints and client measurements to design and price orders, offering functional and value-based recommendations.
- Maximize design for form and function in spaces of any size
- Anticipate and inform clients of additional features that may be useful to them.
- Ensure careful consideration of the placement of water and electrical systems to guarantee safety.
- Consult with clients to understand their style and cabinetry needs, and ascertain the intended functions to create design solutions within required timelines.
- Present base pricing with layouts and 3D representations promptly
- Collaborate with clients at worksites or the showroom
- Precise site measures
- Conduct site visits, including measurements, mark-outs, and working with trades regarding electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Mark out necessary details with precision, considering plumbing, electrical, and heating considerations.
- Order placement and management

- Collect accounts before delivery.

**Skill Requirements**
- Cabinet design designation or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 1-year experience:

- Sales
- Customer Service
- Cabinet design or industry
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Diplomatic client interaction approach.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining rapport with builders.
- A willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle disappointments professionally.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Attentive and courteous telephone manner.
- Strong multitasking capabilities.
- Detail-oriented and skilled in interpreting technical information.
- Self-motivated with an aptitude for identifying and implementing improvements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible office environment.
- Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal vehicle for client worksite travel.

Preferred Qualification
- Certification or degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management software.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
