Markham, Canada Catering Company to be Opened Full time

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring that each dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of food handling.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
