Knights On Guard Security is looking for a Director of Training to join our team. The Director of Training will be responsible for the overall development of our security guard team and curriculum design and learning management system. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s training programs, in addition to teaching training courses, virtually and in person.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and implement training programs for security guards, including classroom instruction and online training modules. This includes reviewing and updating existing training materials, as well as creating new courses to address the growing needs of our clients.
- Conduct regular assessments of training programs to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date, and make necessary changes based on feedback from security guards and management.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to identify areas for improvement in training programs. This may involve conducting surveys or focus groups with security guards and other stakeholders to gather feedback.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of security guards to identify areas for further training and development. This may involve conducting regular performance evaluations or providing coaching and feedback to individual guards.
- Ensure that all training materials and resources are kept up-to-date and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This may involve working with legal or compliance teams to ensure that training programs are aligned with regulatory requirements and updating materials as needed to reflect changes in the law or industry standards.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to security guards to help them succeed in their roles. This may involve answering questions, providing additional training or resources, or connecting guards with mentors or other support networks.
- Development of SCORM courses
- LMS system upkeep

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security guard training or a related field
- Strong understanding of training and development principles and practices
- Experience with LMS systems
- Experience with SCORM courses
- Exceptional judgment, common sense, and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with online learning management systems and other training technologies
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security guard training.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
