**For Recreation Program Leader Positions**:

- Assists with developing fun and engaging programs and activities for kids aged 5-12 years.
- Provide direct supervision of children, and ensures their health, safety, and wellness.
- May participate in the development of individual care plans for participants as needed.
- Encourages and facilitates the participation of individuals in the program by creating a safe and fun atmosphere in which children can interact.
- Maintains appropriate records and statistics and ensures that all required documentation is accurate and complete (e.g., incident reports, daily log sheets, attendances, etc.).
- Adheres to BGCCVI Policies and Procedures, Community Care and Licensing Regulations, and other requirements and general safety standards.
- Ensures that the facility is always safe and clean.
- Other related duties as required.

**For Supervisor Positions**:
Job Duties:

- Responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of a program schedule that includes age-appropriate activities for program participants that include all elements of BGCCVI Core Programming standards.
- Ensure the program standards, guidelines, and policies of BGCCVI are upheld and all Community Care Licensing requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Human Resources for the recruitment, hiring and training of staff for your program.
- Working with the billing coordinator to ensure appropriate paperwork is received and fees are collected for the program.

Qualifications:

- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment)
- Class 4 Driver’s license would be considered an asset (or willingness to obtain)
- Successful completion of Agency screening process, including criminal record check to work with vulnerable population (must be at least 19 years of age)

Part-time hours: 2-40 per week
