We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Residential team in Iqaluit, NU. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the administrative operations of a portfolio of residential buildings, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, leasing and customer service.

**What you will do**:

- Responsible for providing supervision and management of a team of administrative employees in the regional office
- Responsible for providing supervision and management of a team of cleaning employees
- Assist in developing and implementing accounts receivable, accounts payable, leasing, customer service and cleaning policies and procedures, and ensuring continual compliance within the administrative & cleaning teams
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs, manuals and videos
- Work with the facilities management team to coordinate inter-teamwork for timely completion
- Through collaboration with other managers, share best practices related to the operation and maintenance of facilities
- Work with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure safe and reliable operation of Northview’s facilities
- Point of contact for leasing inquiries, including outside of regular working hours
- Conduct viewings, reference and credit checks
- Conduct move-in and move-out appointments with residents and ensure legal documents are completed and signed correctly
- Conduct market surveys within the region and recommend rental rates based on findings
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Perform inspections of facilities when requested
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager

**What you will bring**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently and is a self-starter
- Demonstrated experience in positions of increasing responsibility in facilities management, project management, property management or related fields, preferably in large, multi-family complexes.
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and work order management systems.
- A strategic and operational thinker with a proven track record of accomplishments, outstanding analytical skills, decision making, and team building skills.
- Strong leadership and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Must be able to analyze data, including financial and technical, from a variety of sources
