**Intent of the process**:
The immediate need is to staff one indeterminate Geomatics Officer in Halifax, NS.

EDUCATION

A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

Significant* experience in legal property research such as comprehensive survey plan analysis, researching survey and title documents, examining land rights, using registries and resources to gather various documents.

Experience creating summary reports on research findings or presenting research findings to clients or project leads.

Experience providing support or services to clients in a business environment.
- Significant experience means the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of duties on a continuous basis over approximately two (2) years.

ASSET EXPERIENCE

Experience working in Land Information/Administration, Title Searching/Property Researching, or as a Geomatics Technician.

Experience organizing documents, information or data, assimilating files, managing filing systems, using electronic systems for management of information.

Experience using Computer Aided Drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD) or Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
