Discipleship Ministry Coordinator

Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Discipleship Ministry Coordinator at Camp Cedarwood. The Discipleship Ministry Coordinator will reside at the Camp, located at Pinawa Bay - Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Camp Cedarwood is a ministry of YFC Winnipeg that provides youth with a camp experience that is rooted in the Gospel with a focus on excellence, while allowing them to experience new and exciting opportunities through our programs and activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and oversee (under the direction of the Camp Cedarwood Ministry Director) the discipleship ministry at Camp Cedarwood, including a year-round DTS style program and our summer LIT program.
- Actively promote these programs within the community to ensure we have sufficient students enrolled in them.
- Conduct interviews to recruit students to join the program.
- Lead and implement the programs and provide mentorship and supervision to the students enrolled in them.
- Collaborate with other YFC ministries to establish learning opportunities for the students.

- Maintain a close, intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
- Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
- Affirm and support our organization’s Community Covenant and Statement of Faith, and be committed to YFC’s mission.
- Able to live and work in a camp environment during part of the year while being flexible and patient in nature.
- A post-secondary or Bible School education and a minimum of one year of ministry leadership experience would be an asset.
- Embrace YFC’s core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
- Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills.
- Take initiative, pay close attention to details, and be willing to adapt.
- Able to work well in a team as well as on your own.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
