**Job Title**:Fabricator

**Setting**: Indoors

**Location**: Kamloops, BC

**Hours**: Monday to Thursday / 2:15pm to 12:30am with option for overtime

**Responsibilities**:

- Read, interpret and execute shop drawings and bill of materials
- Layout, advise, and plan sequence of operations based on shop drawings
- Set up and operate welding equipment and fabricating machines
- Build, weld, fit and assemble components and equipment
- Monitor accuracy, verify exactness and build to specifications in accordance with shop drawings
- Checking work for quality and accuracy
- Ensure that all fabrication equipment is maintained
- Work in a safe and effective manner
- Other duties may be requested by the Company that is consistent with the Employee’s abilities and responsibilities
- Red Seal certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years fitting & fabrication experience
- Experienced FCAW all positions is an asset
- Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete essential duties in an efficient and timely manner
- Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment used in steel fabrication
- Experienced in sawmill equipment fabrication is an asset
- Forklift certification or experience an asset

**Salary**: $70,122.00-$79,521.00 per year
