**IT Service Desk Analyst**

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Delivering effective and friendly customer service while troubleshooting various IT needs.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users.
- Recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment in the office as well as onboard company vessels.
- Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
- Ensure security and privacy measures are up to date and effective.
- Other responsibilities when required.

**Minimum Qualification, Skills and Competencies**:

- University Degree in Computer Science or a diploma in Information Technology Systems or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience working in an IT service desk support environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
- Advanced communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to present and deliver ideas in user-friendly language.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of the following system operating systems: Windows server 2xxx, XP, and Linux and Windows based Networks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Server Network Environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS).
- Working knowledge on supporting TCP/IP networks, with the ability on administering Network devices (NAS, Printers, etc.).
- Working knowledge of structure cabling standards, Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a
- Experienced with supporting MS Office Suite and Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access).

**Working Conditions/Special Notes**:

- Burlington office with some travel to company vessels, warehouses and offices to support project needs.
- Requirements for travel will be approximately 15% of the role.
- After-hours support required (evenings/weekends) as per operating demand.
- Hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of onboard training.
