**The Opportunity**CBRE is seeking an individual to form an integral component of the Downtown (office) Research Team in quarterly and weekly statistical reporting detailing the Downtown Toronto office market. You will provide research and analysis support of commercial real estate markets. This is an opportunity to be part of an industry leading team. The role will encompass certain routine tasks around the collection and analysis of core data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team's production, lead generation/business development and delivery of research material.

**Responsibilities**:Compile various ad-hoc research requests including but not limited to, property one pagers,, vacancy overviews, rental rate overviews, area overviews, demographics and fundamental economic stats thereby producing high quality information.Gather and produce accurate real estate related information to determine market projections and trends.Assist the mid-level/junior brokers with various requests while aiming to exceed expectations.Engage in various business development initiatives by providing support with the following:* Demographics Searches* Corporate Searches* Title Searches* MLS Searches* Do Zoning InquiriesHelp maintain the capacity in the research department by assisting trainees and interns with various learning initiatives.Obtain and record comparable lease and sale transactions for property specific appraisals, valuations, and research.Liaise with the city for items such as traffic counts and pedestrian counts. Find and test new mapping solutions to incorporate in client facing presentations.Assist with CanadaPlus database maintenance as needed by updating and maintaining building and availability information.Assist Research Manager and Senior Research Analyst as requested and strive to place CBRE Research in a market leading position.
