**Salary Range**:$61,600 - $77,000

**Applications will be held on file for a period of six (6) months.**

The **Program Lead** supports the planning and delivery of HEC’s programs, collaborative education and improvement initiatives; conducts literature reviews and environmental scans, evaluation, and analysis (including data analysis and interpretation); prepares reports, briefing notes, and other program documents; and coordinates meetings and events.

HEC is currently recruiting for a Program Lead on the **Northern & Indigenous Health (NIH)** team for a 24-month contract.

HEC recognizes the need to support reconciliation efforts in all of its work, and to develop respectful relationships and partnerships with First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Northern health systems, governments, organizations and communities. These partnerships and relationships guide our efforts to support cultural safety and humility in healthcare systems and to enhance the capacity of the health system to meet the needs of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. The Northern & Indigenous Health programs at HEC include: organizational efforts to support Truth and Reconciliation; First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Northern health system partnerships; and supporting cultural safety and addressing systemic racism in healthcare systems. We are committed to creating a culturally safe work environment and providing staff access to cultural safety training and related learning opportunities. **A relevant bachelor’s degree in Indigenous health, experience working in First Nations, Inuit and/or Métis health and the proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with First Nations, Inuit and/or Métis governments, organizations and communities, is preferred.**

Your core responsibilities include:

- Supports the project management of HEC’s programs, including design and delivery of project timelines, milestones, activities, tracking, and monitoring to ensure proper follow up and completion of deliverables.
- Analyzes, synthesizes, and/or creates summary report of deliverables submitted by the collaborative project teams.
- Assists with the development of resources, products and tools that facilitate the delivery of HEC’s improvement approach to its improvement teams and partners.
- Participates on team coaching and program faculty calls; maintains meeting minutes with concise summaries and action items.
- Schedules and attends virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Provides basic support and troubleshooting to invitees/ participants such as challenges accessing virtual meetings, resolving audio/ video difficulties, sharing screens, and managing meeting roles and permissions.
- Creates meeting agendas and materials; prepares HEC evidence summary products, reports, and other knowledge products, e.g., to profile or better understand the programs.

Education and experience you will need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare improvement, health policy, public health, epidemiology, community health, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience is required.
- Bilingual in French and English is preferred (English communication skills at Advanced “C” level required).
