**About the Position**

Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Team Lead, Counselling programs, is responsible for direct service provision to individuals and groups, as well as for developing, planning, and occasionally delivering presentations, workshops, groups, and community development initiatives to support clients.

The Team Lead is a Masters-level provider with demonstrated leadership and clinical excellence.

The Team Lead is a role model, and through effective communication fosters a spirit of collaboration, supports management direction, and models the values of the organization.

Activities include program planning, scheduling, and promotion of services in the community through participation in community coalitions, networks, and events.

**About You**

You have completed a master's degree in Social work or equivalent. You are a member of a regulatory college (OCSWSSW, CRPO) and have maintained the right to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy within the province of Ontario. You have (3) years of counselling and community social work experience. You have demonstrated knowledge and clinical skills using evidence bases approaches to the clinical treatment of mental health, gender -based violence and relationship challenges, including trauma-informed and strength-based approaches. A demonstrated awareness and understanding of the impact of social determinants of health within an anti-oppressive practice; experience working with diverse and marginalized populations. A demonstrated knowledge in change management and continuous quality improvement approaches. Strong assessment skills in working with clients and safety concerns/high risk situations. Strong conflict resolution, collaboration and problem solving skills. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with strong administrative skills, must be able to meet program requirements while managing competing demands. A team player who can collaborate with colleagues ad management in a flexible and professional manner. Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development. A demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem-solving of complex and challenging situations, both with clients and with FSO staff and team processes. Demonstrated ability to communicate and foster inter-agency partnerships/relationships.

Location: Ottawa, Ontario Canada

Compensation: Set in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement $60,100.80 to $74,198.25
